With over twenty years of experience in the film and television industry, Jon has written and directed numerous award winning feature films, television pilots, short films, and episodic shorts. Feature film credits include: Still Green (Director), Boyband (Writer/Director) and Deadly Retreat (Writer/Director), among others. Jon, whose work has been featured at film festivals, including the HBO Comedy Arts Festival, ran a popular improv comedy school in Hollywood called Slap my Improv. Prior to that he studied at the highly acclaimed Improv Olympic with the late Del Close in Chicago. Jon currently serves as the chair of the Cinematic Arts Department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), where he teaches a full load of film courses, including screenwriting, directing, production and acting.
